My training system is back in experimental mode. I liked my first day of HIIT. You can really feel the lactic acid shooting through your legs at about 45 seconds of each interval. It's still too early to know if it's beneficial but I felt some crazy fatigue at the end of my last interval. I think it'll be good. I don't know what kind of ride I'm going to do today because I'm not sure that I'm recovered enough to do anything intense. Maybe I'll just go for a long slow cruise up hard guy or something.

sounds good. I'd guess that the more you mix it up ... some intervals more intense etc ... will probably be best for racing. so your muscles aren't just habituated into a certain pattern. ???

yeah
